G'day dograt68 welcome to PA, all the best once you get the ducks lined up. Check out APLA (WA lobby group) who actively fight for everyone's right to prospect, all volunteers. Get your prospecting permit/licence, life time one off purchase and get your head around available ground and 40e permits. I'm sure others from WA will help steer you in the right direction :beer:
