Hi all,
As a recently retired youngster, I needed a hobby to compliment my love of the bush, so I thought what better way to explore the back roads than to hunt for some colour while out camping and caravanning.
Knowing next to nothing about detecting, I started researching the subject (makes and models, areas, etc, etc.) and I came across this forum and decided to hook up, so howdy all.
I'm allready learning heaps of stuff here from all I read and I hope I can post some success stories of my own down the track.
I decided to "learn" with a Whites SPP pulse induction detector because of it's lightness and simple controls. On top of that the 5x10 Razorback coil lets me search really tight terrain (creeks, banks around vegetation etc.), like the places I go camping in, Flinders, outback SA. No luck yet, early days, but you never know what that next creek or gully is willing to give up!
I think I must be an optimist
Regards, Adrian
