Hi all I have been lurking around the forum for the last month or two reading up and checking out all the information you guys have been posting on here. I would like to thank you all for sharing your knowledge, I have been thinking what type of detector to purchase and your reviews have come in very handy making a final decision. Anyways just wanted to say hi and hope I can have some input onto the site once I get some practice in and hopefully find some goodies.

Greetings aggerts - hope you have some success. Always remember - your only a 6 hour drive from the heart of the Vic golden triangle. A lot of south aussies come over here and detect. I did some detecting over at Echunga/Jupiter Creek some years ago when we were testing some drilling equipment.

Thanks for the welcome guys, I have not seen or heard of Mines of SA' yet Loamer but thanks for the heads up. I have been looking at a few maps etc IM sure that book will come in very handy, might have to start dropping some suttle hints to my GF early Christmas present. Add it to the list Sand scoop (someone to drag the esky behind me dig my holes and fill in. :lol:
