Saw these pics on an FB site. Some thoughtless people leave horrible messes. No wonder some places are off limits.
Another person posted a couple of pics of one of the correct ways to retrieve your treasure.

Very frustrating to say thr least. I wouldn't like to see that in areas that I detect, in fear of being wrongly blamed for someone elses sheer laziness.

The term 'pig' comes to mind for a couple of reasons, similar in nature and a similar visual result

SAME OL. people on a forum do the right thing, Our ''hobby'' is important to us. the ratio of guests to members is usually- about- 3 to 1. just saying. :(

There where a couple of other pics. The gentleman who took them had gone along and filled in all the holes left by the idiot. Said it took him less than 5 minutes.
Lazy is the right term.

Talking about holes!! I was down Bondi Beach on Monday public holiday round 11:50pm and the tractor was out cleaning and flatten the beach, but I started seeing big holes and thought some D*%$ head has been here and didn't fill his holes bk in, There was ppl still running up and down the beach and thought someone will break there ankle. I then later seen a guy at the other end of the beach with his metal detector and torch.. felt like going after him and punching him in the face lol ok rant over now :)

Attention if this was you down Bondi Beach Please fill your holes back in, I know its at midnight but ppl still like to jog and walk at this time
