My improved version of a view tube.

1 off 600mm length 100mm PVC tube with the belled end.
1 off Magnifying lens 105mm
2 off Drawer Knobs for handles.
Squirt of Clear Silicone to seal lens in tube.
Black spray paint to darken the tube interior.

I drilled with a 35mm forstenner bit - 6 evenly spaced holes to allow light on the subject.

The belled end protects the lens from damage on rocks.

Note: I used a very good glass lens because I had one.
You can buy a cheap magnifying glass from the "Reject Shop" for $2.00
