anyone here used a highbanker from Gold Sluice Australia before ?

The guy that makes them is an ex miner based in Sydney , curious how they work in the field with yards throughput and if they catch fine gold too ?

they have advertsing in the GGT magazine

Hi Crevice, Think this needs to go in the equipment section, you may get more respnoses.

Cheers, V_8

i currently have a GSA pro sluice, it is my first high banker. when i first started using it i was using bucket on end of it cause i hadnt done much before and i was never able to find even a tiny spec. every tiny bit of gold was caught up in the matting. when you do your clean up and take the miners moss out there is alot of gold normally sitting on the ribbed mat. ribbed mat runs the entire length of sluice which i think is a good reason that its so effective of catching all your gold and not blowing any..

I had the fortune of meeting the maker/owner of gsa slices down at oallen Ford couple of months back.He had with him a prototype trommel ran by solar panels that looked like it could move a serious amount of dirt.
hopefully they will be out soon and reasonably priced from what he said.
