I've heard of people towing monster coils behind quad bikes across the endless wastes of the WA outback, but this machine (on Gumtree today), claims prospecting speeds of up to 80 kph!

My thoughts are pinpointing would be not a worry. If you use a quad and drag coil then you have a second detector as well. Once you have found a target then detecting normally in the area was the way we did it. Or disconect coil and run another coil on your machine. This guy has obviously sorted out ignition noise from bike and motor interference. That is the hard one to sort out. 80kmh!!!! I want to see that.
