I have recently rediscovered my interest in detecting and am in the process of getting another detector. I am interested in relic hunting and would like to venture into the world of gold detecting. Ive always wanted to get back up to byron / ballina, I lived at lennox heads for a few months, I miss that weather but not the cane toads n cockroaches!

Theres a few stories of hidden treasure, shipwrecks and interesting locations right there in Ballina. Off the top of my head im pretty sure Ballina holds some secret mysteries as well, but you will need to find old books and old information, possibly the local library and ask how to see old microfische documents or newspapers.
