Hi My kids,

Got a kick out of fossicking near walcha.

I heard there are some spots around mid north coast. Would like to meet like minded people in COFFS area. I want my kids to find some gold nuggets one day.

Hey Gavin, there was a reef of quartz at diggers point (next headland north of Look at me now) that had visible gold running into the sea. There was multiple mines directly behind Moonee and Emerald. I have a facebook group currently with 37 members all with a direct interest in fossicking around the Coffs area. If you are on FB do a search for Coffs Gold Hunters. Mt Coramba had one of the richest ore bodies in NSW in the 1890s
