I am AJ, I thought I would pop in and say Hi.
I have always been interested in mining or varies forms as my dad has been a miner all over Australia. Really brilliant opal and gem cutter. On the weekend I was over at sovereign hill panning in there setup. After getting about 2 dozens specs in an hour I had that old feeling stir of I really want to get out and have a crack. Cause there was something relaxing about it.
So this monday/tuesday going up to Maryborough to pick up a SDC 2300 hire machine to get out and have a crack to see if using a detector is for me. I have boys weekend in Lorne that is pretty big deal, but all I can think about is getting out in the bush with a detector
Have no idea yet where I going to go but I am sure that part will work its self out.
