Gudday all.
Just joined and very new to the hobby. I am in Yeppoon and just recieved my detector with a hand=held locator. Been doing lots of months of research on where old diggings are in this area and how productive they were.
I have minimal equiptment but aim to expand and upgrade WHEN I eventually find something of value. It's mostly for my young kids - to get them outdoors away from the bloody television and into the outdoors.
Thanks for all your posts. Getting a great education (Spent 37yrs at uni and still learning heaps).
Any tips for my area I'd be really grateful.
