Have been interested in gold and gems for years but have only just started finding it ourselves. Have been watching heaps of youtube clips posted by Wal and Liz and have found the information they gave to be awesome!

Cheers Sam. Don't mind the cold, means less sweat at work!

Have learned heaps so far. Been panning and getting a bit of colour. Have been saving for a detector and was looking at one around $1200. However am thinking that I'll save a bit more and get a better one after reading other people's comments.

Between chasing gold and fishing, doesn't leave much time for the lounge!!
