Hi guys and gals, my name is Mark, I live in outer east subs of Melb. I like 4wd'ing fishing camping and shooting. AND I just bought a gold pan and had a little bit of luck with it. I did try my luck when I was a kid with a home made sluice, but never got much, so gave up on it, wind forward 25 years and I now find myself in prime gold country when I'm out 4wd'ing. I normally go out to the high country, Dargo Talbotville, woods point, walhalla etc. so hopefully I can gain some knowledge off some of the other members and perhaps arrange a trip or two.

Thanks mate, I have led a few 4wd trips into the high country, but never had time to prospect, but will do so in the future with some more relaxed trips where I'm not leading a group.
