Hi my name is Ben I'm new to this forum but been digging the yellow stuff for a long time and was invited to join by some lovely people I met today after taking them to an old digging site for a bit of swing .. was there five minutes only to see a lovely bit of amythest picked up off the ground ... any way just thought I'd say hi ;-)

Thanks guys n yes heatho its a wonderful town n good history about the place n I've been a little blessed in having a lot of knowledge about the entire area from orange to Bathurst hill end all the way to here I'm currently trying to start a business taking ppl on fossicking tours n history tours as well and yes wal your inkling would be very correct I love gems as much as my gold and the tales of times gone by if ever anyone is in my area I'm always willing to give a helping hand ;-)

Sounds like a top idea having such a vast knowledge of the area. Would be a great business to run, seeing the look on someones face when they find their first gemstone or bit of Gold is priceless.
