hi people Ron here i have been prospecting in many different forms over the years but not much lately however i have recently renewed my enthusiasm for finding some gold

i have 2 detectors a bit old by todays standards one is a ft16000 it was originally purchased new and it found a 2 oz nugget on its first day out by wife of course and she was looking where i told her not to look
shows what i know about finding gold

the next detector was purchased 2nd hand in 2002 SD2100 this is a pulse induction with manual ground balance we found gold with it at Rokewood Tarnagulla and in WA north of Leonora found a few oz in WA on our 2nd trip over with a caravan and we stayed for nearly 3months

what else about me oh i have found gold by panning at blackwood vic and woady yaloak creek near devils kitchen . mixed with all the gold is lots of other junk that any detectorist would know about

my current interest is is building a new detector i am based in electronics and have been doing some study on design of pulse induction detectors ,I am interested in talking to others about design of this type of detector
