Hi from a newbie

I've been wanting to get into detecting for quite a while - Looking to get either a 705 Dual or the EuroAce as my starter. Plenty of good advice to sort through in the forums..

Welcome to the forum Menaijack, personally I would go for the 705 with auto/manual ground balancing and screen backlighting over the EuroAce, good luck with your purchase.

Hi Menaijack, welcome to PA mate, I've just started detecting myself and I have the 705 gold pack which works great for coin/pull tab hunting, not to sure if the mono coil in the dual pack is of any benefit for the extra dollars but im sure someone could answer that (curious myself) so far just used it at the local parks and beaches. I look forward to seeing your finds

Hey mate I have owned the Ace 350 my mate has a 705 both are great machines .But 705 has a few more features,test drive both if u get the chance than decide.Thanks

Still researching pros and cons but the 705 is probably more suited for what I want - 75% Beach/Parks and 25% in the bush looking for the big nuggets. LOL

Ended up ordering the 705 Dual from Miners Den.. Should be here tomorrow - Can't wait to hit the beaches.
