Just saying hello and introducing myself, my name is James (34) and I live in Cairns FNQ.
Have done a bit of panning and sluicing over the years but nothing too serious, however life has become a bit more relaxed since moving back to Cairns three weeks ago from spending four years in the GC/Brisbane. So I will definitely have a lot more time to scratch some ground.
I am looking at getting into detecting, and go back over some of the old places I have visited for a start. So any help anyone could offer as to what would be a bit of kit to start with would be awesome and very appreciated.
