If anyone on this site is ever looking for some one to go M D with give me a yell . Or a e.mail . I am 63 but bB .hell don't hold that against me . I am mad keen . . I have just joined up, another member has directed me to this site. I am very new to prospecting so I am keen to learn right from the beginning of where to start by buying myself a budget detector. G'day Aussie_Bob, welcome. Firstly, age is no barrier. It's a wonder the medical profession hasn't picked up on the fact that metal detecting, prospecting ect has major health benefits. The only draw back is it's not good for stress at times. lol. What sort of defector do you have and what's your fancy, beach or gold fields?. There are a few members down your way that go out to Glendons or the new fossicking areas just out pass Warwick.

G'day Maz, welcome. After reading through the posts on here you'll have no trouble selecting a defector and if there's any additional questions please ask, I'm sure someone will have the answer.

G'day Aussie-Bob, I am in a similar position but as far away as possible being in Carnarvon West Aust. I am renewing my detecting experience as you can see in,

Introduce yourself, third from the top of home page..

I am 74 and keen as Mustard, so at 63 you have plenty of time to find enough for the odd carton, and I don't mean baked beans.
