Just started gold prospecting as a hobby and thought I'd join this forum.
I'm actually a hiker and love researching forgotten old walks and locations with old maps and various sources like old books and mud maps. I normally plan these walks for weeks then do them. It's super rewarding. Anyways, when I started diving more into prospecting I discovered the similarities in location research. So I'm super pumped to bring my knowledge across into prospecting.
Anyways, I tried out one of my researched locations as a complete beginner and I found a few specks in my pan and I guess I'm hooked now.
