Hey there, just joined this forum and I'm from Braitling Alice Springs NT. Myself and husband we started researching a lot in regards to gold after hearing and seeing discoveries in north west of Alice Springs.

Welcome to the forum guys , you will pick up plenty of info on this site . What type of gold prospecting are you targeting and how far do you have to travel to be in a gold area .

yes BastosA i just edited and added an extra link that describes the prospecting method. keywords i pick up on are "isolated" and "surface", seems to me if you can gain access anywhere in or near the area it's worth a look.

Now the question is , sdc2300 or gpx5000 ?

Both great machines. 5000 longer learning curve but a very good machine. Sdc water proof easy to use and compact.
But "Take your pick "

Welcome .Born in 1949 in the Alice and was there till 1959 . Never done any prospecting there tho ,too busy tripping over me nappies . Plenty of info on this site -enjoy
