very spanking new to the scene... just got my license and hoping to learn as much as possible from the site and perhaps make some friends along the way.
the idea is to combine my hiking/camping trips with a bit of prospecting by this spring/summer.

any tips more than welcome, maybe a point in the right direction for some newbie guide of sorts.

I need to find me a gold nugget, bigger the better of course
