Hi guys i need a little help.. does anyone have raw silver?
Im trying to identify this??

Well silver oxidizes quickly, you could try and force it to oxidize, here's a quick link from Google which may work http://www.wikihow.com/Oxidize-Silver-with-Egg-Yolks. It could be mercury though, you could try removing it safely. Or it could be tin which occurs around gold fields or platinum, if the silver or mercury tests fail then you could test to see if it was these. Hope this helps, cant say I've got a heap of experience in this field, hopefully someone else does.

It turned black with the sulphur?
I have a bigger piece...its not soft /is heavy/not mercury.

Is it soft and slightly malleable or hard and brittle? If silver it should be soft and malleable like gold. Like the others have said silver is only normally silver on fresh surfaces but becomes quickly tarnished to brown, grey, or black. Apparently it is frequently alloyed with gold or mercury. First thing i though of was amalgam so maybe that's why?
