help with findings

G'day everyone and happy new year.
Yesterday I went out and bought myself a cheapo aldi metal detector as I was going up to my property in Rushworth the next day. Long story short I got to try it out in the state forest and found something that I don't know what it is. Its about broad bean sized silver in colour with sort of small goldish colours as seen in the pics below. Could someone please help me out with what it is.

Looks like a chunk of lead, is it heavy and is it easily dented/scratched?

I'm guessing aluminium, where possibly the can was a gold/yellow in colour?
At least the aluminum would explain the light weight?

Thanks guys is there any test I could do to work out if the gold colour is actually gold??

Smash it all up and pan it off,... if you don't want to keep it how it is that is.

You can get gold test kits from Ebay etc.
