Hi guys new to forum and new to prospecting I no longer work due to PTSD from my time in the military and was looking for something to keep me busy so as I'm starting from scratch any advice would be appreciated especially on where to go and what to buy. I'm looking at the moment for a couple days during the week and weekend I love hard work so not worried about that part of it. I'm trying to do things that help myself and my PTSD

Welcome Womble77 were you lookinf at metal detecting for gold or treasures on beach or around old ruins or are you going to pan or sluce.

To start with due to money being a concern would like to pan and sluce then one day have a metal detector

My ultimate goal is to learn enough to invite other ex miltary or first responders suffering PTSD for weekend trips

I believe that a weekend trip with helping each other searching for gold could help those suffering PTSD at least for a weekend forget about our problems

Sorry forgot that I'm currently living in Colac in Sth west vic but I also plan on moving back to my home town Mildura Victoria by end of year

So any advice on those areas would be awesome but I'm not afraid to travel
