Welcome to the forum BrightEyes.
If you give the members here an idea of budget, whether your after a turn on & go type detector or something with more manual control, general area of use etc they may be able to help.
There's a wealth of experience on the forum with prospecting detectors spanning across Australia (& even overseas). Good starting point for your research.

If you let us know what you are prospecting for and where you intend looking..
Bugger me, there might be a PA member right in that area that could show you a spot and even lend you their own gear for a try???
