Hello new to prospecting

Gday all moved to Albury about 12 months ago after my old man passed away. Turns out I have inherited his prospecting gear mine lab detector pans picks the whole shebang. But I have all the gear and no idea lol.
I believe that this area is a good area to get out and give it a crack so I may need some advice along the way.
