Hi all. I'm Andy, from Scotland. Very new to detecting. Only been watching videos about gold detecting and gold panning on YouTube. But I would love to get out and about and do a bit more. Just waiting for the weather to get better first. Going to do some panning as there is no where to detect in Scotland. I would love to get a good detector and head out to Australia. It looks like so much fun that you guys and girls are having. I might look at getting a 6 month visa and stay for a long holiday. I would like to chat with anyone who would be interested in showing me around or willing to have me 'shadow' them when they go detecting. I am willing to help cover costs for fuel etc. If anyone would be interested, feel free to message me. Thankyou all very much for letting me join your forum. The shoes are off and the slippers are on, and I'm going to settle in here nicely.
