My name is Tash and I am a newbie at prospecting but keen to start exploring in Sofala and the surrounds. If you have any guidance to areas that could be a good place to try and recommended equipment it would be much appreciated. I dont have a 4wd unfortunately (wish I did). Looking forward to learning and hopefully meeting a few of you on my explorations.

Where in NSW?

Wattle Flat is 10 south of Sofala and still some gold there - hard to get but it is there.
Also Hill End another 30 minutes west.
