Hi all , finally became a full member after lurking for a while. Basically Im new to detecting but had an xt1700 back just before the sd series came out. I found only one small nugget at Ophir back a long time ago. 
Ive been studying these pages and reading,reading,reading and researching as much as I can. Ill be purchasing a new sd2300 to start off with and do as much research on here as I can. Thanks for such an informative site!
