I thought I should finally say hello. if you've seen me around you'd know who we are. I'm Karen and my little white super dog is Gymp. We live in Warwick Qld and make a point of heading to Glendons, Durakai, Big Hill, not so much. Talgai and haven't looked at Leyburn or canal creek as much as I'd too. I've lived in mining community's all my life and finally got given a gold snoop pro for my birthday 2 years ago.... Can't say I found much at all with Snoop, but the gold bug bite in a big way. Gymp and I took to crevicing and found enough to keep me interested, but still not enough to really see...:) I was very fortunate to recently pick up a lovely little Gpx 5000,which I nicked named Labbie untill I was talking about taking labbie out for a swing :( So now I'm looking for a new name.... :) On the upside I've spent about 50 hrs at durakai "learning" my wonderful toy, and found some very interesting things. The most exciting thing I've found is a big chunk of lead.... But, no gold yet:( if you see us around, Gymp is friendly and I don't bite, so say hello and tell me what I'm doing wrong!!!!

Welcome aboard Karen,

You've got yourself a top level machine there so it's only a matter of time before you ping some of that yellow stuff.

In terms of names, unfortunately I've got nothing for you but I'm sure you'll find something a little more fitting soon enough.

Best of luck with it and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to put them out there.

Cheers,
Nugget
