Hi eveyone,
My name is Michael from Northside of Brisbane(Kalllangur).
I have been a bit of a collector of minerals and rocks since a little fella. Actually spent a lot of time digging in the back yard of once where I lived in Eagle Junction. Was a great place to find old war buttons and other earlier items. Will have to put some pictures up for you to have a look.
I have recently just came back from a couple of days at Inverell. I didn't spend that much time whilst their sieving for sapphire but did manage to score a few nice little ones during the stay. Can't wait to go back and have another crack.
Seems like a really great site and a good bunch of people.
Anyone who is around this neck of the woods and would like some company on a filed trip to somewhere, hit me up!
