[OceanDevotion]

Hi there, my name is Frank and I live in Geelong VIC, have been away from the detecting scene as my knee gave me grief, but have decided to get back into swinging, have found a couple of crumbs and that has really fired my gold fever right up again. Some of you might wonder whats the name "OceanDevotion" got to do with gold prospecting? well My other passion is sportfishing and that name has stuck to me for a good 40 years now ( I'm 56), My claim to fame was a couple of years back when I threw caution to the wind and wandered into a mineshaft at Blackwood VIC with my trusty 4000 and came out with a half ouncer, but **** that was scary, still have that nugget, actually, I still have every bit of gold I found, err well, except for a couple that found their way back into mother earth at some funerals that I and other detectorists attended. Anyways, looking forward to getting involved in this forum and maybe meeting a few of you out in the fields of gold cheers Frank

Glad you have joined frank, a fisherman and a detectorist, must be a good bloke may see you up the goldfields one day i go mainly around castlemaine haven't been around blackwood for years
