I went past your place today on the scooter and the dashboard temp gauge was reading 43C, I live in the cooler part of town it only got to 38C.7.62marksman said:

He is pretty set up for gear thanks. They have been living 3 or 4 years in Oz then 3 or 4 in the UK as his wife is English. Funnily enough, our mum is a Pom and her mum was born over here so the both have dual passports and can come and go as they please. They have settled in Australia now that they have kids. Gone over for Xmas with her family.
Thought Id get out for an early morning play before the day heated up. Heard a sound that made me take off my headphones at around 9:00am. It was a nor wester that came through with a rush. I continued for a while but the heat built up so quickly. Got back to the ute at 10:00am and the temp had already climbed to 38 degrees. Sucked in a lot of water and went home to watch the cricket. Most of the bees in my hives were sitting on their front verandah trying to cool off. A bugger of a day really.
Only got to 37 here. Was not hot enough this morning to stop me from detecting for a couple of hours before the temp peaked out, there was a nice stong north easter on the beach, once that dropped though it heaterd up rapidly.
