Hit a beach yesterday with the Nox for the first time in about a year, hopefully plenty more hunts coming up soon. Ring is silver, bangle is a junker.

Last two CTX hunts from two different beaches. The crusty florrie was a surprise as it was the first target on the first hunt and only a few inches down, can't believe it's just been sitting there all this time as I know people detect that beach regularly, go figure....

Happy days.

Did you get the florin in the water? If so, I suppose it could have moved around with the tides etc. over the years and only just popped up.

Nice work Heatho, maybe the florin worked its way out of the sandhills and just hasn't managed to travel too far?? :Y:

Hey GP, I do remember now that last time I went to this beach several months ago (wasn't detecting that time) the council were doing some work on the sea wall, maybe it was uncovered during those works.

Yes some some gold would be great Art, hoping for some soon. :p

Scored a nice little gold ring this morning, though was a recovery for someone, saw the post on facebook and headed down to give it a shot, detected for about an hour and bingo! Scored about $10 in goldies too plus a nice bottle of wine from the lovely lady who's mum had lost the ring.
