Hand-sized nugget

I read lots of talk about finding small nuggets (lucky you!) but I've not found a post about finding large nuggets.

What would a detector read if you came across a hand sized nugget or the mother lode if you had your detector settings on "to find gold"?

Would it come up as a big piece of iron? I'm thinking of the golden triangle in Victoria.

Just wanting to know, cause I'm a believer!

It only takes one

Just about any Machine would read it as A Good Target, and depending on the depth and the ground conditions but apart from that most machines would see one that size at about 3 maybe 4 feet,

makes you dig every target, that's the problem its hard to know what a big nugget sounds like because not many people have heard the sound
