So, the weather down here in Vic is a little too hot for this little duckie to head to the goldfields where the temps are usually even higher ......
Though a few sessions at some nearby beaches may be a way to spend a few evening hours as things cool down, especially after some of the hot weather has seen crowds return to beaches.
So ..... has anyone given the 6000 a workout at the beach, welcome any feedback, thanks.

Gamer than me Teemore.
I just got back from the coast but didn't entertain taking the GPX6 with me.
Without any means of discrimination at all & being so sensitive I'd think it wouldn't be my cup of tea on a beach. Would drive me too drink 😂🍻
You may be right, just looking for a distraction rather than the box in the evening ..... last time I went just after NYE lasted about 10 minutes .... nothing but sparker wire (not with the 6).

That damned sparkler wire! Often they light whole packets of sparklers at a time, so you detect a couple of dozen wires in one swing and whatever detector you're using, it goes nuts. Then there's the steel tent pegs from those wretched wind shelters... aaargh!
