gpx 5000 settings for maryborough

hi everyone.

i have a day at maryborough detecting, hired a 5000. any advice on the settings, any good spots to try? and is it best do detect around the mullock heaps or off to the edge. I found a heap of bullets and shotgun pellets, thought one was gold, haha, any advise would be grateful.
i have been researching and trying to read the lay but still a novice.

I presume you hired from Coiltek?
If so they will set it up for you.
Nothing wrong with FP for a day.

Never have any issues when detecting Maryborough with my 5000. Redfin is right they will set it up for you at coiltek.
They may even tell you where their test area is where they have buried lead at different depths for training.
