Hi, Marie is my name. Will be buying a detector soon, after attending a demonstration day. I live at East Gosford. I would like to go prospecting with others to be safe. Weekends to start with then holidays as they come along. It would be great to meet other like minded locals. Will keep a look out for replies to this request. Got to get the hang of finding my way around this Forum. Looking forward to honest and healthy replies. :8

Welcome aboard Marie, you are our 7000th member. Anyhow there is plenty of top notch info here at PA, plus there are small groups that meet up every now and then at places like Hill End, Stuart Town and other areas detecting and sluicing/panning as well.

The members meet up heading should be the 1st heading at the top. I'm not sure if you can see it or if it's 1 of those things that will appear from nowhere with ninja like stealth once you have made 10 posts.
