Hey RR

Yes you can do it but I think it's only Vic, anyway you need a particular file which I cant lay my hands on at the moment, but maybe someone else can direct you to where you can download it......

However Bazz & Duck....the files you both speak of......are you saying you can overlay those on a live feed of GoogleEarth?? :/

I can't remember where I downloaded the file from though rhino, sorry mate, I went searching for it yesterday afternoon but couldnt find it.

If you have a smartphone, in particular an android, I can post the steps on how to load it through google earth on your smartphone.

Hey mbasko, yeah I came across this also when I was searching for it but you have to be a member of that forum to download the files and I am only a member of PA. its out there somewhere just need to find it. :)

Edit: I remember finding the info out here on PA on an old topic, might have to go digging through the archives of Prospecting Australia, its a deep and windy forum, so be careful you may get side tracked and destracted and find yourself a few hours later reading up on something completely unrelated and end up further away from what you were searching for to begin with :p

Are the old PA 'black hole' trick, you just peak in to have a quick squiz at something and before you know it you've disappeared for hours.

8) ...wow, thanks M3talmiliti4 that's 13Mb. Well, i have downloaded it, so does it automatically o/lap when i start GE, or do i need to embed it onto GE?

Apologies, i'm not over tech savvy myself and don't understand how starting GE links the two together. :8

**EDIT** Hmm, well i opened the kmz file and it sprung into life in GE and had an opened screen with pins everywhere, yet when i typed a location in the search feature, it went to that spot but had lost all the pins...

Guess i need to play with it some more, but will have to wait as i'm nearly out of I/net credit (W/less payg).. :(

Cheers.
