Good at trivia? Like money?

I just saw a news story about an iPhone app called HQ, I just signed up.

It's basically a live game show we're anyone can play and the winner walks away with real money.

Next game is 12:30 gmt for $2000. It hasn't cost me to sign up, and I don't think it costs to enter

I had a look at a news article with a sample of questions from the HQ app, Its a bit like "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" the curve on those questions is insane, I was able to comfortably answer all bar one, I think the one I missed was about an English Premier League Football Manager, or something equally obscure pfft! Reminded me of Trivial Pursuit, happy to land on any colour and clean up except Brown (Arts & Literature). I think most people would get at least 8/10 correct, then those 2 killer questions, where its just pure luck or you happen to be Good Will Hunting that gets you over the line.

I might have a look at the app, as long as I'm not secretly charged a subscription like some of these ones that turn out to hit people for $100 a week because you replied to an SMS!

It seems to be legitimate, got to be in it to win it I reckon, I'm gonna give it a crack!

The news article I looked at said there was a very short time to plug in your answer so you couldn't google.

Good luck, give it a good shot!

As a team, you could possibly use google, fast typer, fast internet.
Google sometimes does enough to just highlight answers in bold type within the search engine results, especially if you can automatically eliminate 2 of the answers.

I got eliminated in round 4 of 12 :lol: if you get a question wrong you're gone! There was close to a million people in the game.

It look like they play 2x a day, once at 12:30pm and once at 6:30am Adelaide time
