Well, it sure looks like the detector is working ok.-You'll get there.
Jaros :p
Im trying Jaros and some of them i had to dig at least 3 feet deep.

Blasting them with electrolysis ca work on the items that havnt had the rust eat too far into them. Very easy to do.

The thick heavy iron tools will cleanup a bit but anything thin or too much rust will just deterioate. Electrolysis doesnt always look pretty either, sometimes a gamble like cutting a stone in half or not.

Keep your eyes open for civil war trinkets like minnie balls, the value is rising for them

SC75 those finds are fantastic. I once found an old buried rubbish tip on a property and the detector went crazy. In my enthusiasm I put my pick straight through a Turks Head cast iron iron, for ironing clothes. Damn.
Keep lookin you will find the gold.
Cheers

Nice finds. I look at that pic and I see alot of hard yakka. That might be a little old dolly pot?
You've got enough horse shoes now mate so your lucks gotta change soon!

It is hard work especially the deep targets, the dolly pot was at least a meter deep but i enjoy finding old stuff its part of our history.

If you want to throw them out - toss them my way! I love stuff like that and have a bit of a collection myself. What area do you prospect in?
I will get back to ya on that one mate, if i get triple that i will send them to ya no worries. If i don't the misses will be taking them to the local tip.
Most of the finds are around Hepburn, Bullarto,Trentham and Barrys Reef, i haven't prospected anywhere else.
