Gold prospecting in Coffs Harbour

Hi everyone. My names Harry and I'm in year 8. me and my dad are thinking of heading up Coffs harbour way next school holidays as I have taken a liking to gold prospecting. I was wondering if anyone could point us in the right directions for small nuggets/medium sized flakes. Have heard that Tallawudjah creek area is good but I'm not sure. Would be great if I could get a reply! Thanks
