Gold panning and detecting in the Holbrook NSW area

Hi members,
I am new to this website and I think that its great that you can get advice from experienced prospectors here. I am just wondering if there are panning and detecting opportunities in the Holbrook, NSW area?

I don't know your area but here in WA I use the Mines Department maps and data that is freely available to all with a prospecting license. I suggest you check with your local Mines Department and see what they have available. Anywhere showing Abandoned Mines will be a good indicator to get you started.
