Gold metal detectors?

I have been looking for a website like this for sometime now.
Very new to prospecting.
I I have 4 questions today
a- Are there metal detectors that are made specifically to prospect gold only?
b- which is the best if they exist?
c- Can they locate gold at a very deep depth?
d- Can they be used on land and in water?

a) Yes and No, metal detectors by definition detect metal. Gold is a metal. There are metal detectors designed for gold prospecting but they'll also find lead shot amongst other things.

b) subjective and depends where you're prospecting. Some areas I prospect with a pulse induction machine, some areas I detect with a VLF machine. Often with both.

c) Some metal detectors have great depth, but depth depends on many things such as mineralisation, is the ground dry or wet, is the ground rocky or sandy and so forth.

d) some detectors are all terrain meaning they can be used on land and water
