Gold detecting trips

Hi everyone, i'm Anth,i'm 54 and i live in England (the cold North East). What i'm really interested in is getting on one of these gold detecting trips at the back end of the year. The longer the expedition the better up to 21 days would be great with everything thrown in. Any suggestions on who runs these trips? Also i'd like to hire a GPX 5000 for the duration.Doesn't matter if its east or western Australia as long as its well organised. Thanks for taking time to read this. Happy hunting!
