Hi, all, long time lurker finally signed up. Up here in Hervey Bay. Looking at getting into the goldfields at some stage I hope. At the moment though, spending my time haunting the local parks and beaches. Finding heaps of cool stuff and even reunited 2 owners with lost jewellery.

It's a bit blurry but yes family jewels, these were her Grandmothers. She lost all three of them. Solid Platinum with lots of "Ice" 8) . The 2nd was a signet ring from a 12 year old girl that she had just been given for her birthday

Thanks all for the warm welcome. Nah, mine ain't that dainty. Didn't even get to touch them. She dove into the sand shovel so quick I nearly took her head off. I don't think she will be wearing them to the beach again. Blurry picture was because I had the shakes. It was about 38 that day, i was about to head home totally buggered and badly dehydrated .
