Hi there,my names Hoffa.
I live in Bendigo
So I was in the pub having a couple frothys one Friday arvo and struck up a conversation with a young man, Doug from Canada,anyhow he had come to the triangle to try his luck in the goldfields.
I'd never detected before and remembered my dad had a detector.
So after getting along swimmingly with doug I went out for a detect with him and I detected a 6.5gram nug in my first couple hours! Bloody beauty!beginers luck.
I'm still new to the game and recently found this forum and am absolutely loving it!
Doug ended up staying at my house for 2 months (after i convinced the missus he was a good man)coming and going as he pleased to go prospect the triangle.
That's how i started this hobby and really enjoy learning and the history of the old diggers.
