Hi to all you PA members,

I'm new to detecting. I have only been at it for six months or so and loving it! I've been interested in basic geology for a while and have been amazed at the knowledge of the prospectors on this and other forums and understand I need some idea of Geology to be consistent in this game. I'm a big fan of YouTube and watch my favorite YouTubers on high rotation, in between researching stuff about Geology and I'm beginning to get a idea of what to look for out in the field. I am interested in gold and Australia's gold mining history, crystals/minerals and everything about the bush.
I've got a 4500 and I'm not a very competent operator and hopefully that will change over time.
