Hi fellas I should have done this a long time ago, so please excuse the lateness.
I guess I have been fossicking since a boy of 6 when Dad, Mum and "Uncle" Bob would go panning at HillEnd. I can just remember Dad having all these little medicine bottles filled with glittering yellow stuff and sitting on the windowsill (which I had them now and my Dad).
Have looked for gold in Vic and NSW but my passion was sapphires. Not that I found many but always enjoyed the hard yakka and the thought of a good steak, red wine and telling a few tails around the camp fire with the brother-in-law.
Love the website and hope to do a bit of coin shooting now that I have my AT Gold and Pro-Pointer.

Thanks Duck. I love this site and we have some great members with huge amounts of knowledge which they give freely.
I haven't used my gear yet as I need to do a bit of research on some beaches that might be of interest.
