G'day from Mt Perry QLD

G'day all,

Name's Josh and I'm new to the game, live in the small town of Mt Perry in QLD. Have been panning in the creeks around the district with my 10 year old son (he loves it). We seem to find something every time, still not 100% sure if it's gold or not.

G'day Josh, welcome. I work on cattle properties around the north and south Burnett area. I've just finished a job between Gayndah and Mt Perry (Mingo crossing area) a few weeks ago, at the moment I'm working down at Kilkivan but I'm heading back up that way in September got another big job to do. When I get back up that way maybe we could team up. I've have have found gold north of Mt Perry but it's only fine stuff but I've been told that there is the odd picker to be found there as well.

Where abouts north of mount perry have you found gold? I'm new to the game and live in the area and I'm trying to find good places to go for a pan.
